This page explains what information VADE collects through this website, why it is collected, and how it is handled.
VADE is a small, pre-accreditation educational site. The goal is to provide a plain description of actual practice.

Who this applies to
This policy applies to VADE’s public websites, including:
- vadeeducation.com
- vadeeducation.org
It applies to information collected through the public website, including the Subscribe and Contact pages.
It does not govern any future representation relationship that may exist after VA accreditation. Any future professional representation relationship would be governed by separate agreements, disclosures, and applicable law.
What VADE collects
The Subscribe form sends the information entered to Buttondown for confirmation and newsletter delivery. The Contact form is not connected yet and does not currently send or save the information entered.

Technical information
When someone visits the site, Cloudflare may automatically process technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This may include an Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring pages, timestamps, and security or diagnostic data. VADE does not currently use this information to create visitor profiles.
What VADE does not collect
The current public website does not include:
- A VA claim intake form
- A document-upload portal
- Medical-record uploads
- VA file-number collection
- Social Security number collection
- Disability-rating collection
- Claim-stage intake
- Service-record uploads
- Medical-condition intake fields
VADE is not currently accredited to represent veterans before VA, and the site is not designed to receive claim-specific or medical documentation.
How VADE uses information
Subscribe information
Email addresses and optional first names collected through the Subscribe page are used to:
- Send notice of new Learn articles
- Send occasional VADE development or accreditation-status updates
Contact-form information
When contact submissions are operational, the information will be used to review the inquiry and respond when appropriate. Messages are not treated as individual claims or client matters.
No sale or third-party marketing
VADE does not sell subscriber or contact information and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Service providers may process information on VADE’s behalf as necessary to operate the website, forms, email delivery, hosting, security, or related infrastructure.

Cookies and analytics
VADE does not currently set its own cookies or use advertising, behavioral tracking, or a website analytics service. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technologies and process request data to deliver, secure, and operate the site. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for information about Cloudflare’s practices.
Your choices
Email unsubscribe
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message.
Subscriber-information requests
You may request access to or deletion of subscriber information by emailing joe@vadeeducation.com.
Contact-form deletion requests
You may request deletion of contact-form information VADE still holds by emailing joe@vadeeducation.com.
How long information is kept
Subscriber information is retained through Buttondown while a subscription remains active and as reasonably needed to manage unsubscribe, deletion, security, and legal requirements. Buttondown describes its retention practices in its Privacy Policy. Because the Contact form is not connected, VADE does not currently retain contact-form submissions. VADE does not maintain a separate database of visitor activity. Technical information processed by Cloudflare is retained according to Cloudflare’s applicable policies and service settings.
Security
VADE uses Cloudflare’s hosted infrastructure and encrypted HTTPS connections to help protect the website in transit. Reasonable administrative and technical measures are applied to information VADE collects, but no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed to children, and VADE does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this page
If VADE’s information practices materially change, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
